Area affected Arafura Sea, Top End.
Central pressure Lowest estimated was 970 hPa on the 20th. Lowest recorded was 990 hPa at Warruwi on the 20th.
Winds Maximum estimated 65 knots(120km/h) on the 20th. Maximum recorded mean wind 48 knots (89km/hr) with a gust of 66 knots (122km/h) on the 20th at Warruwi.
Rainfall Significant 24hr totals: Charles Point 197 mm on the 22nd, Tindal 284 mm, Katherine Council 228 mm and Darwin Hospital 160 mm on the 23rd and Wave Hill Police 156 mm on the 24th.
Seas & storm surge Very rough to high seas. The tide to rose about half a metre above astronomical levels on South Goulburn Island.
Damage Severe damage to vegetation occurred. Heavy rainfall caused localised flooding in many areas.
