Area affected Gulf of Carpentaria, Top End, Joseph Bonaparte Gulf, Kimberley, Indian Ocean.
Central pressure Lowest estimate 991 hPa on the 1st March. Lowest recorded at 999 hPa at Groote Eylandt on 2nd March.
Winds Recorded mean maximum was 35 knots (55km/h) on Northeast Island on 1st March.
Rainfall Significant 24hr totals: 313mm at Groote Eylandt AWS, 186mm at Northeast Island and 184mm at Numbulwaron the 2nd March. 144 mm at 17 Mile Creek and 126 mm at Dum in Mirrie Island on the 3rd March.
Seas & storm surge Rough to very rough seas. At Bickerton Island, the storm tide exceeded the normal tide level on 1 March.
Damage Wind damage was restricted to Groote Eylandt where trees were toppled onto power lines and a boat was sunk in Alyangula harbour. Flooding resulting from heavy rainfall associated with the ex-cyclone.
