Area affected Gulf country, Gulf of Carpentaria, Victoria River District, WA Interior.
Central pressure Lowest recorded 993 hPa on 12th at Mornington Island.
Winds Strongest estimated 45 knots (83km/h) at Sweers Island on the 11th.
Rainfall Significant 24hr totals: Redbank Mine 169 mm on the 13th, Birrindudu 124 mm (VRD) on the 15th, Mataranka Stn 132 mm on the 16th.
Seas & storm surge Rough to very rough seas. No storm surge recorded.
Damage At Mornington Island trees were uprooted but there was no structural damage. No information available from the coastal crossing area in Queensland. Flooding at Rocky Creek.
