Area affected Gulf of Carpentaria, Cape York Peninsula.
Central pressure Lowest recorded 986 hPa at Weipa on 10th. Lowest recorded in N.T. 997.5 hPa at Northeast Is. on 8th. Lowest Estimated 985hPa.
Winds Maximum estimated winds 93 km/h on 10th. Gales were reported in the northern gulf between 8th and 10th. Gale force monsoonal westerlies were apparent during the topical depression stage at distances up to 350km from the centre.
Rainfall Highest N.T. 24hr fall was 73mm at Warruwi on 9th. and highest cumulative total 6 - 10th 168mm at Nhulunbuy.
Seas & storm surge Very rough seas reported on 10th. Rough seas were reported up to 400km from centre in the monsoonal stream. No storm surge reported.
Damage Nil reported in N.T.
