Area affected Arafura Sea, north coast, Darwin to Port Keats.
Central pressure Lowest estimated 982 hPa. Lowest recorded at Darwin Airport 987 hPa.
Winds Maximum gusts recorded 117 km/h at Darwin Airport and at Darwin wharf.
Rainfall Heavy rain and flooding over western Top End. Highest 24hr fall 270mm at Point Stuart. Highest 72hr totals 749mm at Warruwi, 482mm at Maningrida and 561mm at Point Stuart.
Seas & storm surge Rough to very rough seas along north and west coasts. No reports of storm surge.
Damage Large numbers of trees felled in Darwin but minimal structural damage. However 700 insurance claims totalling $2million were lodged. Cleanup operation cost $500,000.
