Area affected North coast, Tiwi Islands.
Central pressure Lowest estimated (in NT Region) 990 hPa on 9th.
Winds Highest reported mean wind 50 kts (93km/h) by ship near centre on 9th.
Rainfall Moderate to heavy falls along north coast. Highest 24hr total 185mm at Warruwi on 10th.
Seas & storm surge Rough seas along north coast on 9th and 10th. No storm surge reported.
Damage Nil in the NT. Kay later reintensified in the Indian Ocean and sank two Indonesian fishing vessels with the loss of 16 lives.
