| Winds | Ship to north of centre reported mean of 119 km/h on 26th. Gove recorded 83 km/h gusts, and Alyangula recorded 65 km/h mean on 27th |
| Rainfall | Highest 24hr totals, 208mm at Black Point on 27th, 341mm at Woologorang on 29th. The remains of Sid caused widespread flooding in NQ with a highest 24hr total of 549mm recorded in Townsville. |
| Seas & storm surge | No surge reported. Rough to very rough seas. |
| Damage | A small catamaran wrecked and several yachts dragged moorings at Gove. Tree and power lines damaged in Nhulunbuy and Alyangula. No structural damage reported. |
