PARTICIPANTS The fundamental work of the project is performed by Work for the Dole Programme participants (WDPP). As of November 2006 approximately 80 participants have been involved in undertaking the work of the project. In the metropolitan area project participants have or are engaged in the following tasks -
In the country area participants were occupied with (now completed) -
A Participants Manual, setting out the tasks, responsibilities, duties and conditions of the WDPP in detail, together with a resource pack is provided to every WDPP upon appointment. Each WDPP is supervised and given guidance in their work by their supervisor. If any problems are encountered by any WDPP they may discuss this with their supervisor, Community Work Coordinator (CWC), or, if necessary, with the Project Manager, David McCarthy. |
