VOLUNTEER SUPERVISORS The WDP requires that the WDPP are supervised when they are working. To this end the project utilizes supervisors from locations throughout the State in both country and metropolitan areas. In the country Councils have provided supervisors for participants undertaking research and consultation in their areas. In the metropolitan area supervisors are recruited through Volunteering SA These parties undertake the primary role of supervising the metropolitan WDPPs and the secondary role of coordinating the outcomes from the country groups. The structure of supervisors is as follows -
Supervisors provide supervision and guidance for the WDPP(s) in their area and are required to sign their time sheets each week. A package containg the Supervisors Manual, setting out the responsibilities in detail, other manuals as well as forms, stationary and other resources is provided to each supervisor upon appointment. The project also has volunteers undertaking project work including Caroline Lang - Research, Denis Parslow - Photography and Kiong Oon Ling (Arthur)- IT Specialist. |
