Forecasts for sun safety | UV Index forecasts for towns & cities | UV Index
The UV Index graphs and values for cities and towns around Australia are freely available on the Bureau's FTP site.
The graphs files are identified by an identifying code. See UV index values below to identify locations. These graphs are produced once a day at approximately 6:35am local time.
The product exists as a ".txt" file whose contents is a series of rows, each row contains forecast information for one particular location. A description of the data in the UV Index file follows:
