Weather Situation
A slow-moving high pressure system is over the Tasman Sea. A weak low pressure trough over Victoria will remain slow-moving before deepening over western Victoria on Thursday and moving eastwards later on Thursday and early Friday. A high pressure ridge will lie to the south of Tasmania on Saturday while a low pressure trough will linger near northeastern Victoria.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday
Partly cloudy. Patchy early morning fog. Isolated showers and thunderstorms from midday. Heavy falls possible with thunderstorms. Winds light this morning then tending southerly and averaging 15 to 30 km/h this afternoon and evening. Temperatures 27 to 33 during the day.

Cloud increasing. Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Winds northeasterly averaging 15 to 20 km/h, reaching 35 km/h at times, tending southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h by early evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 19 with daytime temperatures reaching 25 to 30.

Cloudy. Scattered showers tending isolated during the day and clearing by evening. Winds south to southwesterly averaging 15 to 30 km/h tending south to southeasterly up to 20 km/h later in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 16 with daytime temperatures reaching between 18 and 23.

Becoming cloudy. Isolated showers late in the evening. Winds south to southeasterly averaging 10 to 20 km/h becoming light later in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 13 with daytime temperatures reaching the low 20s.
