Weather Situation
A slow-moving high pressure system is over the Tasman Sea. A weak low pressure trough over Victoria will remain slow-moving before deepening over western Victoria on Thursday and moving eastwards later on Thursday and early Friday. A high pressure ridge will lie to the south of Tasmania on Saturday while a low pressure trough will linger near northeastern Victoria.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday
Partly cloudy. Patchy morning fog. Isolated showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Heavy falls possible with thunderstorms. Generally light winds but some stronger squalls with thunderstorms. Temperatures 27 to 32 during the day.

Winds northwesterly averaging 15 to 30 km/h shifting southwesterly up to 35 km/h around dawn, then easing south to southeasterly up to 20 km/h by evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 18 with daytime temperatures reaching the low 20s.
