Weather Situation

A slow-moving high pressure system is over the Tasman Sea. A weak low pressure trough over Victoria will remain slow-moving before deepening over western Victoria on Thursday and moving eastwards later on Thursday and early Friday. A high pressure ridge will lie to the south of Tasmania on Saturday while a low pressure trough will linger near northeastern Victoria.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday

Partly cloudy. Patchy morning fog. Isolated showers and thunderstorms from midday. Heavy falls possible with thunderstorms. Winds southeast to southwesterly averaging 10 to 20 km/h tending easterly later in the evening. Temperatures 27 to 32 during the day.
