Flooding

Heavy rainfall in excess of 200mm fell over near coastal parts of the central Pilbara coast. Flooding was not as severe as during tropical cyclone Monty in 2004 but nevertheless resulted in road closures. Rainfall over 100mm was widespread further inland and in subsequent days the remnants of Clare contributed to heavy rain in the south of the State.
