Wind damage in Dianella, Mirrabooka and Claremont.

 

Tornado through Kings Park and South Perth, damage to houses.

17 July 1996

Roof damage at Clarkson (Perth suburb).

14 November 1996

Wind damage to roofs in Warnboro.

21 November 1996

Downburst near Derby Airport. Trees uprooted and pushed onto houses. Metal shed flattened.

28 November 1996

Downburst near Kununurra. Trees blown over  and crops flattened.

1 December 1996

Downburst near Kununurra. Crops damaged.

23 December 1996

109 km/h wind gust recorded at Mt Magnet.

4 February 1997

Severe downburst at Kambalda. Damage in a 1 to 1.5km wide strip. Winds lasted for 3 minutes accompanied by heavy rain. 3 house suffered major damage to roofing.

19 February 1997

Flash flooding between Westonia and Boodarockin.

24 February 1997

Severe downburst near Badgingarra, house and shed unroofed, paddocks under water.

27 February 1997

Severe downburst at Paraburdoo, tree branches snapped, 21mm of rain in 30 minutes.

28 February 1997

Severe winds from a thunderstorm uprooted trees and tore tin off roofs at Mt Narryer Station (inland Gascoyne), paddocks under water.

Flash flooding at Northampton in the Central West.

Wind damage at Yuin station in the Central West.

Wind damage, flash flooding near Northam and York in Central Wheatbelt.

Hail damage and flash flooding east of Mukinbudin in Central Wheatbelt.
