Climate Summary for Western Australia:December 2006 An average monthIn
BriefThe monthly rainfall across WA in December was 35.9 mm, about 7 mm
above the average due to well above average falls in parts of the inland Gascoyne
and Interior contrasting with well below average falls in small pockets of coastal
areas from the north Kimberley to the South and Southeast Coastal districts.
The statewide mean maximum temperature was near average at 35.17°C (average
35.12°C), however Perth and surrounding areas experienced maxima up to 2°C
above average. The WA mean minimum temperature was also near average at 20.58°C
(average 20.77°C ). Some extremes and records for individual locations
