Updated Christmas Island Forecast

Weather Situation:
A tropical low north of Christmas Island is bringing showers and storms with
possible heavy falls for the island over Wednesday and Thursday. This system is
forecast to remain near the island until Friday when it is expected to
gradually move towards the east bringing about an easing trend to showers over
the island.

Cloudy. Very high chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm.
Winds: E/SE about 10 knots.
Seas: About 1 metre.
Swell: SW below 1 metre.

Forecast for Wednesday 19 November
Cloudy. Very high chance of showers with possible heavy falls. The chance of a
thunderstorm.
Winds: E/SE 10 to 15 knots.
Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres.
Swell: SW below 1 metre.
