STORM FORCE WIND WARNING 2 FOR WESTERN, SOUTHEASTERN, AND SOUTHERN AREAS

SITUATION AT 200000UTC
Vigorous flow associated with low 976hPa near 50S112E. Forecast 968hPa near
53S120E at 200600UTC, 961hPa near 54S120E at 201200UTC, 963hPa near 54S124E at
201800UTC, and 966hPa near 55S130E at 210000UTC.

AREA AFFECTED
Bounded by 49S138E 44S121E 45S105E 58S114E 58S136E 49S138E.

FORECAST
Clockwise winds initially within 540nm of low and expanding to all quadrants by
200600UTC. Wind speeds 35/45 knots, increasing to 40/50 knots within 180nm of
low in northern quadrant from 201200UTC. Very rough to high seas, rising to
very high with storm force winds. Moderate to heavy swell.
