GALE WARNING 7 FOR WESTERN, SOUTHEASTERN, AND SOUTHERN AREAS

SITUATION AT 191200UTC
Vigorous flow associated with cold front 50S141E 56S141E 56S134E to low 974hPa
near 54S129E. Forecast cold front weakening, with trough developing 49S132E to
low 965hPa near 58S137E at 191800UTC, trough 50S136E to low 967hPa near 58S140E
at 200000UTC, then low weakening with just trough 51S142E 59S144E by 200600UTC,
and trough 55S149E 59S149E at 201200UTC.

AREA AFFECTED
Bounded by 47S114E 47S133E 55S152E 60S152E 59S135E 56S130E 57S114E 47S114E.

FORECAST
Northwesterly quarter winds within 240nm east of cold front and developing
within 360nm, of trough, then contracting to within 180nm of trough by
200600UTC. Winds tending clockwise within 480nm of low in northern semicircle,
then contracting to 240nm of low by 191800UTC. Wind speeds 35/45 knots, easing
below 34 knots east of cold front by 191800UTC, then easing around low by
200600UTC. Very rough to high seas. Moderate to heavy swell.
