The ministers we report to in the Australian Government
The Bureau operates within the Australian Government's climate change, energy, environment and water portfolio. We report to the Minister for the Environment and Water, Senator the Hon Murray Watt.
The Bureau is a partner of the Australian Climate Service (ACS). The Bureau's Chief Executive Officer and Director of Meteorology is the accountable authority for the ACS.
The ACS reports to the Assistant Minister for Climate Change and Energy, the Hon Josh Wilson MP.
