Save locations for quick access on your homepage
How to add favourites
Step 1: Search for a location on this website and open the location page. You can add towns, weather stations, districts and more.
Step 2: On the location page, select the Favourite location star next to the place name:
- The star changes from an outline to solid. A banner confirms your favourite is saved.
- Your first favourite town or place becomes your homepage at bom.gov.au.
Step 3: To add more favourites, repeat steps 1–2. Add as many favourites as you want. Access them all from the Favourite locations list on your homepage or anywhere on the website using the star in the top menu.
Step 4: To change your homepage favourite or switch back to the capital city overview, use Homepage options below.
