The BOM Weather app and our website use the same underlying weather information from our observation network and forecast models. Many other weather apps and commercial services also rely on this information.
You may sometimes see differences in weather information between our app and website, or between different devices – even for the same location. This can happen for many reasons.
Our website and app services were developed at different times, using different technology, to meet different needs. We are working to reduce the differences where we can, but this work is complex.
