Forecasts for each state and territory are prepared in the responsible Regional Forecast Centre, so some inconsistencies can appear at the borders. The Bureau will endeavour to minimise discrepancies across state borders where possible.
The ADFD grids represent the official Bureau forecasts which are routinely verified. If the official text forecasts and warnings are updated, the ADFD grids may not necessarily be updated at the same time due to the currency of significant weather related events and the priority related to the issuing of warnings.
