Rainfall
Above average rainfall occurred in the metropolitan area in June.
The wettest overall was 116.2 mm at Logan City Water Treatment, followed by 112.6 mm at Redcliffe, followed by 92.4 mm at Archerfield Airport.
The driest overall was 68.2 mm at Amberley AMO, followed by 87.6 mm at Brisbane, followed by 91.6 mm at Brisbane Aero.
Much of the rainfall that occurred in the metropolitan area during June was recorded between 9am on the 20th and 9am on the 23rd. A rain band with isolated thunderstorms developed near the southeast coast on the 20th then spread slowly northwest. Rain areas increased on the 21st and 22nd as an upper trough approached from the west. Flash flooding was reported at both Goodna and Nerang on the 22nd.The wettest single day was 41.8 mm at Logan City Water Treatment on the 23rd, followed by 35.8 mm at Amberley AMO on the 22nd, followed by 34.2 mm at Logan City Water Treatment on the 22nd and Archerfield Airport on the 23rd.

Maximum temperature
Close to average maximum temperatures were recorded in the metropolitan area in June.
The hottest day was 24.4 °C at Brisbane on the 5th, followed by 24.3 °C at Brisbane on the 6th, followed by 24.1 °C at Brisbane on the 14th.
The warmest days on average were 21.6 °C at Brisbane, followed by 21.3 °C at Amberley AMO and Logan City Water Treatment, followed by 21.1 °C at Archerfield Airport and at Brisbane Aero.
The coolest days on average were 20.8 °C at Redcliffe, followed by 21.1 °C at Archerfield Airport and Brisbane Aero, followed by 21.3 °C at Amberley AMO and Logan City Water Treatment.
The coldest day was 16.2 °C at Redcliffe on the 11th, followed by 16.3 °C at Archerfield Airport on the 11th, followed by 16.4 °C at Brisbane Aero on the 11th.

Minimum temperature
Above average minimum temperatures were recorded in the metropolitan area in June.The coldest night was -2.5 °C at Amberley AMO on the 12th, followed by 1.7 °C at Amberley AMO on the 13th, followed by 2.3 °C at Archerfield Airport on the 12th.
The coolest nights on average were 7.8 °C at Amberley AMO, followed by 9.5 °C at Archerfield Airport, followed by 10.6 °C at Brisbane Aero and Logan City Water Treatment.
The warmest nights on average were 11.8 °C at Redcliffe, followed by 11.3 °C at Brisbane, followed by 10.6 °C at Brisbane Aero and Logan City Water Treatment.
The warmest night was 17.0 °C at Brisbane Aero on the 22nd, followed by 16.9 °C at Redcliffe on the 22nd, followed by 16.8 °C at Brisbane on the 22nd.

The strongest wind gust was 56 km/h at Archerfield Airport on the 10th, followed by 54 km/h at Brisbane Aero on the 10th, followed by 52 km/h at Amberley AMO on the 10th and at Brisbane on the 23rd.

The temperature anomaly maps are calculated with respect to the reference period 1961−1990. The rainfall decile maps are based on a reference period comprising all gridded analyses from 1900 to the present available at the time the deciles are calculated.
The Rank indicates how rainfall this time compares with the climate record for the site,
based on the
decile ranking
(very low rainfall is in decile 1, low in decile 2 or 3,
average in decile 4 to 7, high in decile 8 or 9
and very high is in decile 10).
The Fraction of average shows how much rain has fallen this time as a
percentage of the long-term mean.
