Radar images may be unavailable between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm (AEST) from 02/09/24 for up to 6 weeks, to allow for upgrade works. Sector blanking is also in place where a wedge of the radar beam is switched off as as safety measure. To view radar coverage for the blanked sector, refer to Greenvale or Townsville radar 512km composite images. Check MetEye for weather forecasts and current observations.
