Warning to Sheep Graziers
for the Mallee, Wimmera, Northern Country, North Central, North East and Central forecast districts
Issued at 10:53 pm EDT on Sunday 1 March 2026.
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and northeasterly winds are expected during Monday. Areas likely to be affected include the Mallee and Northern Country forecast districts and parts of the Wimmera, North Central, North East and Central forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
The Warning to Sheep Graziers for the South West forecast district has been cancelled.
The next warning will be issued by 5:00 am EDT Monday.
