Road Weather Alert for Melbourne

Reduced visibility in fog will make road conditions dangerous during Thursday evening and Friday morning.
Transport Victoria advises drivers to:
- Slow down and drive carefully.
- Leave more space between you and the vehicle in front. It takes longer to stop on wet, slippery roads.
- Turn on your headlights and watch for pedestrians, cyclists and motorbike riders, who can be harder to see.
Before driving, check the VicTraffic website for the latest information on road closures. If you see a hazard on the road network, call Transport Victoria's Transport Operations Centre on 13 11 70, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
