Change what you see on the map

When you first arrive, the Forecasts -> Wind Speed and direction (knots) is selected in the viewer. This gives you access to the latest wind forecasts on a map and starts with the first three hour period around the country, along with the latest rain radar overlay.

Note: If a Tropical Cyclone is active then the track will also show on the map.

You can change what you see on the map at any time, to show other Latest weather or to show various types of Forecast information - for today plus 7 days.

Simply select one of the choices from the menu panel on the left and the map redraws itself and shows the selected map layer.

Tip: If you are unsure what any of the map layer names mean, then click on the Info button, located below the layer list, for a description.
