Optimal radar coverage of the Australian network

The radar images on the Bureau's website display rainfall echoes from clouds located between 2500m and 3500m above ground. At this height, the optimal radar coverage extends to 200km from each radar. The coverage may also be impacted by interference as described in the radar site information above.
