A trough and associated cloud band has moved onto Tasmania extending further
into South Australia.

Patches of low cloud over southwest Western Australia is due to an onshore wind
flow.

A large high pressure system over the eastern part of the country is responsible
for keeping the rest of the continent mainly cloud free, with just some high
cloud streaming down over northern WA.
