A cold front is moving across southwest WA with an associated band of cloud.
Meanwhile, a trough extends from southwest WA through the NT and QLD. Near this
trough, areas of cloud can be seen with several areas of thunderstorms.

The central and western parts of the country are mostly clear under the
influence of a strong high pressure ridge. Areas of low cloud are present over
Tasmania, Victoria and southeast NSW.
