Weather Situation
A cold front about the west, crosses the state during this afternoon and evening. A much cooler south to southwesterly airstream is expected to follow early Saturday with a ridge of high pressure forecast to develop over the state through the weekend. A warmer northwesterly airstream is then expected to develop during Monday as the ridge gradually moves to the east and a cold front approaches from the west. The cold front is expected to move over Tasmania on Tuesday resulting in a return to cooler southerly flow.

- Northeasterly around 1 metre.

- South to southwesterly 10 to 15 knots tending south to southeasterly 15 to 25 knots before dawn. Winds reaching up to 30 knots during the morning.

- Around 1 metre, increasing to 1.5 to 2.5 metres during the morning, then decreasing to 1 to 1.5 metres by early evening.

- West to northwesterly 1 to 1.5 metres, tending northwest to southwesterly below 1 metre during the morning.
