A high pressure system over the mainland directs a west to northwesterly flow over Tasmania. The flow tends northerly early in the week as the high pressure system moves into the Tasman Sea and a cold front approaches from the west. The front is expected to move over Tasmania mid week followed by a ridge of high pressure.

- Westerly 10 to 15 knots, reaching up to 25 knots offshore early in the morning. Winds tending northwesterly in the morning then tending northwest to northeasterly in the late evening.

- 1 to 2 metres, decreasing to 1 to 1.5 metres during the morning, then decreasing to 1 metre by early evening.
- Swell
- Southerly around 1 metre.

- Mostly sunny.
