  • Total annual rainfall for the 2021-22 year was above average for the first time since 2016-17.
  • Heavy rainfall during November 2021 and May 2022 resulted in end-of-year storage volume increasing from 25% full on 30 June 2021 to 30% full on 30 June 2022.
  • Water taken from surface water and groundwater resources for consumptive use was 713 GL, 26% more than last year.
