Burdekin: Key findings
For the water account period 1 July 2018–30 June 2019
- A monsoon low in late January 2019 contributed to above-average wet season rainfall.
- Storage levels in February 2019 exceeded 200% full due to heavy rainfall associated with the monsoon trough.
- Water use was 853 GL, more than 10% below last year's volume, reflecting the wet conditions.
