  • Annual rainfall for 2021-22 was below average following a lacklustre wet season.
  • Groundwater levels decreased in both aquifers, reflecting the below average rainfall.
  • Water taken from surface water and groundwater resources for consumptive use was 60 GL, 19% more than last year.
