Ord: Statement of Changes in Water Assets and Water Liabilities

For the water account period 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024

  • The volume of water in Ord's storages increased by 1,537 GL during 2023–24.
  • This increase represents the change in water volume in the region's surface water storages.

Schematic representation of the Ord region. Total water inflows during 2023–24 was 18,454 GL. Total water outflows was 16,210 GL. Closing net water storage on 30 June 2024 was 1,537 GL more than the previous year.

The Statement of Changes in Water Assets and Water Liabilities is provided in the table below.
The statement presents the actual water flows associated with the region's water stores, as well as the changes in water assets and water liabilities that occurred during the year.
