41.4 Transfer of water into storages
Supporting Information
The volume of water transferred into surface water storages during the 2010–11 year was 13,685 ML. The volume is made up of transfers from rivers and from the urban water system. The transfers occur as part of urban water operations. For example urban water is released to surface water for transportation to urban water offtakes located downstream. The source and destination of the transfers are itemised in the following table.
Source | Destination |
