32.3 Surface water access entitlement for allocation diversion

This line item consists of urban and non–urban supplemented entitlements accessed through a water supply scheme (WSS). This includes the following priority groups:

• High Class A
• High Distribution Loss
• High A
• High B
• Medium
• Medium Distribution Loss
• Risk A
• Risk A and Risk B.

The breakdown into urban and non-urban entitlements can be seen in the following tables. Queensland does not differentiate between urban and non-urban entitlements within their entitlement register. This breakdown has been undertaken to allow a comparison with the urban and non-urban diversions shown in line item 21.1 Surface water allocation announcements and line item 21.2 Surface water allocation announcements – urban water system.

An additional 7,700 ML of entitlements were issued to the SOuth East Queensland (SEQ) Water Grid Manager from the strategic reserve in the Nerang WSS in 2011.
