Quantification Approach
Data Source
Provided by
Method
The volume is the difference between the opening balance for banked environmental water (9,795 ML), the additional water added to the bank during 2010–11 (3,100 ML) and the release from Warragamba Dam (7,532 ML).
As the volume of allocation remaining is carried over to 2012, the forfeiture for 2011 is 0 ML.
Assumptions, Limitations, Caveats and Approximations
Water remaining at the end of the reporting period is carried over into 2012.
Uncertainty Information
Based on entitlement and diversion information provided by the SCA.
Diversions are based on measured data. Estimated uncertainty based on accuracy of stream gauging is +/– 10%.
