Unregulated rivers in the Perth region include the upper reaches of the Swan–Canning, Murray and Harvey river catchments. These rivers are located on the Darling Range, upstream of the major surface water storages.
Due to a lack of available data, the volume of water within the unregulated rivers cannot be quantified accurately and therefore is not presented in the Statement of Water Assets and Water Liabilities.
