This process occurs in the Canberra region but the volume could not be quantified due to the lack of both data and a suitable quantification approach.
Leakage to landscape includes leakage from water storages, rivers, creeks, wetlands and lakes to the surrounding landscape. The leakage occurs primarily at the edge of waterbodies, the volume of leakage is not believed to be material to the 2012 Account.
