This line item refers to the volume of water held within the wastewater collection systems that operate in the Canberra region. This water asset exists in the Canberra region but the volume could not be quantified due to the lack of both data and a suitable quantification approach.

Wastewater collection systems within the Canberra region are managed by ACTEW Water and Queanbeyan City Council, with ACTEW Water's system being the larger of the two. Four wastewater treatment plants exist within the Canberra region with the largest being the Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre.
