The volumetric value for the line item at the end of the 2011–12 year was 684 ML.
Trade of surface water entitlements occurred within two water supply schemes (WSS). A total of nine trades occurred in the Logan River WSS with a total volume of 301 ML. A total of three trades occurred in the Central Brisbane River and Stanley River WSS with a total volume of 383 ML.
