Ord
5.3 Surface water allocation remaining - irrigation scheme
Supporting Information
The volume recognised in the water accounting statements (282,202 ML) represents the volume of surface water allocation remaining for regulated entitlements for bulk irrigation in the Ord Irrigation Area for the 2011 Account. Irrigation water is sourced from the Main Ord River. Allocation remaining occurs because the dates of the "water year" of each allocation do not match the dates of the 2010-11 year.

Change in line item name and number. Volume restated due to subsequent availability of actual meter readings |
This has been restated because the Bureau of Meteorology used improved licence date information to calculate the remaining allocations on surface water entitlements as at 30 June 2010. Also, availability of meter readings improved the accuracy of the volume presented.
