This line item refers the volume of water that leaks to the landscape from the urban supply system due to pipe bursts. All leakage from the urban system within the Canberra regions is assumed to be to the groundwater system as given in the line item 19.3 Leakage to groundwater as there is no data to seperate the volume lost due to pipe bursts. Therefore, this volume could not be quantified.
