Summary
Very little is known about the eighth cyclone to affect the Northwestern Australian Region. This cyclone, code named Bert , was active for about 72 hours, was very slow moving throughout its lifetime, and was of a low intensity. No reports were received from ships affected by the cyclone. Satellite photographic information was limited as the cyclone, if it appeared at all, was usually near the edge of the photographs received at Perth.
