Summary
Tropical cyclone Jenna , the final in the WA region in the 1995/96 season, formed from a tropical low located to the west of Sumatra on 2 May. Initially the low moved to the southwest through 10°S 90°E and passed out of the WA region late on 3 May. During 4 May it moved on a more southerly track and intensified, reaching marginal cyclone status. By 5 May it had strengthened further and was moving on a more southeasterly track back into the WA region. It was estimated to be at peak intensity from 0600 to 1200 UTC 5 May prior to weakening.
There was no known impact associated with TC Jenna .
