Summary
Tropical Cyclone Roger developed off the Solomon Islands and tracked in a general southerly direction over open waters until 17 March when it was located east of the central Queensland coast. Roger then tracked to the northeast and then southeast leaving the Australian region to the west of New Caledonia.
