This water asset exists in the Melbourne region, but the volume of the asset could not be quantified due to the lack of both data and a suitable quantification approach. This is particularly the case for water in the pipe network. Water to supply the urban network of Melbourne is stored in reservoirs reported within the connected surface water store at Line item 1.1 Storages – entitlement system.
